Suede exposes paid endpoints over x402 — the HTTP-native payment standard. Any agent (Claude, GPT, autonomous workflows) can hit /agent/generate, settle in USDC on Base, and walk away with a registered, license-attached creative output. No keys to share, no human in the loop.

How a paid call works
Five steps from agent intent to a registered, license-attached output.
x402 turns HTTP 402 into the agent-native payment primitive. Suede's endpoints challenge unauthenticated requests with a 402, the agent settles in USDC on Base, and the same connection returns a fully-rights-cleared creative output.
01Agent issues request
POST to /agent/generate, /create-music, or /agent/video. JSON body, no API key.
02Server returns 402
Standard x402 challenge: price, network, asset, facilitator, payee. All in the response headers.
03Agent settles in USDC
USDC transfer on Base mainnet via the x402 facilitator. Confirms in seconds.
04Generation runs
Music · video · image. Same pipeline that powers the studio surface, just initiated by an agent.
05Output registered + delivered
Sealed work ID, metadata commit on Base, sync-ready license preset attached. Returned in the same response.

100% registeredoutput anchors on Base mainnet
The agent surface is not a wrapper on someone else's API. It is the same proof-of-creation pipeline used by the studio, exposed under x402 challenges instead of session auth.
What the output carries
Five layers attached to every agent-generated work.
Layer 04Distribution + sync rights
Sync-ready preset license attached at render time. Buyers walk away with the rights envelope.
Splits route via the same RoyaltyDistributor primitive that powers vaults and library payouts.
Layer 01Sealed work ID
Hash + creator-key signature, anchored on Base. Verifiable in under two seconds.
Layer 00x402 settlement
USDC payment proof on Base. The same payment that authorized the call is recorded against the work.
About Suede Agent Commerce
One spec, three endpoints, walk-away rights. The agent surface is intentionally minimal because the heavy lifting — sealed hashing, on-chain anchoring, license templates, royalty routing — happens automatically beneath each call.
x402-nativeHTTP-standard payment challenge. Agent libraries (Claude, GPT, autonomous frameworks) integrate via the same 402 contract.
USDC on BaseSettles per call. No subscription, no rate-limited free tier, no surprise overage. Pay only for what runs.
Auto-registered outputEvery render anchors on Base, ships with a sealed work ID, and carries a sync-ready license preset.
DiscoverableEndpoints surface on /.well-known/x402 and /.well-known/agent-card.json. Agents discover them like any HTTP service.
Why holding SUEDE matters here
The agent surface has its own SUEDE utility levers. Three live levers that route value back to holders without changing the agent integration shape.
Lever 1
Hold $500+ SUEDE, agent calls go to half-rate
Wallets registered to the calling agent that hold $500+ in $SUEDE flip to the holder rate. Same threshold as the studio + vault deposit waiver.
Music + image drop from $1.99 to $0.99 per call. A high-volume agent saves real money.
Lever 2
Priority queue on render capacity
Holder-tier agents bypass the public render queue during peak load. Same T0–T4 ladder used for vault allocation and studio priority.
T3+ tier sees first-in-line treatment when the model fleet is saturated. Capacity is real, not synthetic.
Lever 3
Per-call yield kicker on agent revenue
When agents license the output downstream, royalty payouts route to the registered creator wallet. Holders get a tier kicker on every payout — same kicker as the vault and library yield bonuses.
Silver $500+ +5%
Gold $5K+ +15%
Diamond $25K+ +30%
Agents that ship downstream commercial product earn more when the calling wallet holds $SUEDE. Demand from real usage, not speculation.
