Try it now

Seal something right now.

Type a line or drop a file. Your browser fingerprints it on the spot. Nothing uploads.

The fingerprint is a real SHA-256 hash, the same primitive a registration starts from. Your text and files never leave this page.

The registry

From upload to registered IP in one step.

Drop in a track, a stem, a voice, or an image. Suede seals it, attaches a Rights Passport, and makes it ready to license and route revenue.

The whole likeness

Your likeness is an asset. Register it like one.

A model can clone your voice from one verse and your face from a press kit. Suede registers the reference works your identity travels through, each with a dated fingerprint on Base and consent terms software can read.

How it works

Three steps from creation to settlement.

Step 01

Prove you made it.

Hash your work, timestamp it, and attach authorship the moment you create. Every file gets a registry-backed Rights Passport anchored to an on-chain identity, so anyone can verify who made it.

Step 02

License on your terms.

Set usage terms, derivative rules, and consent once. The permissions travel with the work wherever it goes, readable by people and agents alike. You stay in control of what is licensable.

Programmable permissionsDerivative controlConsent

Step 03

Get paid automatically.

Royalties, splits, and agent payments route to the rights holders the moment a work is used. Settlement runs in USDC on Base against an on-chain split ledger, with no opaque intermediary.

The surfaces

Every surface feeds the same registry.

Create, tune, train, and publish from your pocket. Work made on any Suede surface registers, licenses, and routes revenue from one account.

Provenance memory

Ask your catalog anything.

Suede knows every work you own, every license you granted, and every royalty owed. Your rights, queryable.

Three doors

Built for whoever holds the rights.

Suede Social

Where your work meets its audience.

A home for creators who own what they make. Tone, taste, and the conversation around the work, not an algorithm farming it.

Founder

Why Suede exists.

“Guitar tone is a chain: the string vibrates, the pickup converts it, the amp colors it. Change one link and you change everything that follows. IP in the AI era works the same way. Change who holds the registration and you change who gets paid at every step.”
Jason ColapietroJason ColapietroFounder, Suede Labs AI
“AI companies are training on decades of recorded music. Creators deserve a receipt for that training data the same way they deserve one for a sync license. The question is not whether AI will pay creators. It is who built the infrastructure to route the payment.”

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How does Suede prove a work's ownership without taking your word for it?

Every work registered through Suede gets a Rights Passport: a verifiable record of creation, authorship, and provenance anchored to an on-chain identity. Ownership and attribution resolve to an ERC-8004 Identity record, so a label, estate, or counterparty can independently confirm who created a work and who holds the rights. Read the contracts directly on BaseScan, or request institutional access to see how catalog onboarding works for your specific rights structure.

Can Suede protect a voice and likeness from AI cloning?

No registry can stop a model from generating a synthetic voice or face, and Suede does not claim otherwise. What registration changes is the evidence position. The reference works an identity travels through, such as recordings, press photos, album art, and portrait sets, each get a timestamped content hash anchored on Base plus machine-readable consent terms stating what has and has not been authorized. When an unauthorized clone circulates, the rights holder points to a dated public record instead of a claim made after the fact. The AI voice protection and AI likeness protection pages on this site cover the mechanics, including where laws like Tennessee's ELVIS Act stand.

What is live on-chain today versus roadmap?

The ERC-8004 Identity, Reputation, and Validation contracts are deployed and live on Base mainnet and on Sepolia. Identity establishes who an agent or rights holder is, Reputation accrues a verifiable track record, and Validation lets a third party attest to a claim. Suede also exposes 3 paid x402 resources for music, video, and image generation. Curl the x402.json registry at app.suedeai.ai/.well-known/x402.json to verify the resources yourself.

Can a label or estate migrate an existing catalog without surrendering ownership?

Yes. Suede ingests an existing catalog from approved sources, attaches verified metadata and a Rights Passport to each work, and maps ownership and splits to on-chain identities. The catalog stays under the rights holder's control: you decide what is registered, what is licensable, and what is off-limits. Contact the institutional team to scope a migration for your specific catalog size and territory.

How does royalty settlement work, and what is the per-transaction cost?

Royalty settlement runs in USDC on Base. Revenue routes to creator-defined splits non-custodially against the on-chain split ledger, with no opaque intermediary controlling the source of truth. The 3 core x402 offerings price per call from $0.05 to $1.50 depending on surface, settling under EIP-3009 with no subscription required. Request institutional access for enterprise settlement terms and bulk routing details.

What does Suede actually do, and what does it not do?

Suede Labs AI builds tools that secure ownership: proof of creation, programmable rights, and royalty settlement. Music is the first domain it operates in, not the identity of the company. For labels, estates, publishers, and funds, Suede is the layer that turns a verified right into a record that settles revenue (registry, routing, and payout) rather than a tool for generating disposable tracks. If you are evaluating it for an institutional use case, request access and Johnny Suede will respond directly.

How can an agent or platform integrate with Suede programmatically?

Suede ships an agent-callable platform: 3 core paid x402 offerings settle per call in USDC on Base under EIP-3009, and the ERC-8004 discovery and agent cards let other agents find and transact with Suede directly. The machine-readable discovery documents are public at app.suedeai.ai/.well-known/agent-card.json. For platforms and funds running their own agents, start by reading the x402 manifest or request institutional access for integration support.
