AI operations · Role guide
The PR rebuild: a press record that is current, verified and easy to quote.
Press records go stale quietly. The newsroom stops at last year, the founder bio names an old title, and three directories disagree about what the company does. A PR rebuild repairs the record once, with every claim tied to a source, and then a managed agent keeps it current. It is the same discipline behind Suede AI's own newsroom.
What is a PR rebuild?
A PR rebuild is a structured repair of a company's public press record: the newsroom, founder story, press kit and company facts across directories. Suede AI audits what is out of date, verifies each claim against a source, rebuilds the materials, and then runs an agent that watches for drift and drafts updates for approval.

What the agent does
The PR rebuild agent's working day
Audit the public record
Lists every place the company and founder are described: the newsroom, about page, directories, profiles and past coverage, with the date each was last updated.
Build one approved fact sheet
Names, titles, founding date, location, products and credentials, each tied to a source, approved once and used everywhere.
Rebuild the press materials
A current founder bio in three lengths, a company boilerplate, a press kit page and a newsroom with dated announcements.
Watch for drift
Checks the listed records on a schedule and drafts a correction whenever one disagrees with the fact sheet.
Draft pitches for approval
Prepares targeted pitches when there is real news, matched to the outlets that cover the category, and sends nothing without approval.
The guide
How to rebuild a press record, step by step
A PR rebuild can be a one-off repair or a standing lane. The audit in step one decides which. The work connects to Suede AI SEO, because AI assistants and search engines read the same records journalists do.
- Step 1
Audit every public description
Suede inventories the newsroom, about page, founder bios, directory listings and profiles, and records what each says and when it changed.
- Every record listed with its URL and last update
- Conflicting facts marked side by side
- Coverage sorted by independent reporting and paid placement
- Step 2
Approve one fact sheet
The founder approves a single fact sheet. Every claim on it links to proof: a filing, a receipt, a published article or a public record.
- Names, titles and dates confirmed
- Credentials linked to their source
- Claims without proof removed or reworded
- Step 3
Rebuild the materials
Suede rewrites the founder story, boilerplate and press kit from the fact sheet, and rebuilds the newsroom with dated entries and clear labels on any paid placement.
- Founder bio in short, medium and long versions
- Press kit with logos, photos and contacts
- Organization and Person structured data on the site
- Step 4
Correct the outside records
Directory listings and profiles that disagree with the fact sheet are corrected through each platform's own process, and each correction is logged.
- Correction requests filed and dated
- Matching names and links across profiles
- A list of records that need the owner's login
- Step 5
Hand the record to the agent
If the lane is worth keeping, a managed agent checks the records on a schedule, drafts corrections and news pitches, and queues each one for approval in Agent Studio.
- Monthly drift check against the fact sheet
- Pitch drafts only when there is real news
- Every publish approved by a person
Guardrails
Written down before the agent runs a single task
Every role ships with the same four lists, agreed with the person who owns the outcome today. They live in the flow itself in Agent Studio, so the rules and the runs sit side by side.

- Present a paid placement as independent coverage
Hands back to a person
- Every publish, pitch and correction request

The one number
Records consistent with the approved fact sheet
- Definition
- Of the public records in scope, the share that match the approved fact sheet on name, title, description and key facts, checked monthly.
- How it is measured
- The agent's monthly drift check in Agent Studio, with each mismatch linked to the record and the fact it contradicts.
- Read alongside
- Newsroom entries dated within the last quarter
- Correction requests resolved
- Pitches approved and sent when there was news
In practice
What a typical cycle looks like
- Week one
The audit lists every record and the facts that disagree.
- Week two
The founder approves the fact sheet and its sources.
- Week three
The bio, boilerplate, press kit and newsroom are rebuilt and published.
- Week four
Outside records are corrected and the agent takes over the monthly checks.
- Every month
The agent reports drift, drafts fixes, and drafts pitches when there is news.

Built on the tools you already run
The agent reads and writes through each tool's own API, with access scoped to what the guardrails allow. Each link opens the developer documentation Suede builds against.

Who runs it
An operator's method, built by an engineer.
Before Suede, Jason Colapietro built, ran and sold call centers, where call review, lead handling, script discipline and the reporting rhythm were run by hand. The agents encode that method. He has 54 pull requests merged across 46 open-source repositories and scopes every engagement himself.

Questions about the AI PR rebuild agent
What does a PR rebuild include?
An audit of every public description of the company and founder, one approved fact sheet with sources, a rebuilt founder bio, boilerplate, press kit and newsroom, corrections to outside records, and an optional agent that keeps it current.
Will the agent pitch journalists on its own?
No. It drafts pitches when there is real news and queues them for approval. A person approves and sends every pitch and handles every reply.
Why does a press record matter for AI search?
AI assistants and search engines describe a company from the records they can read: the about page, directories, profiles and coverage. When those records agree and cite sources, the descriptions are more likely to be accurate.
How are paid placements handled?
Clearly labeled. Paid or company-supplied placements are marked as such in the newsroom and never presented as independent coverage.
Is a PR rebuild a one-off project?
It can be. The audit decides. Some companies need a one-time repair; others have enough news and enough records to justify a standing agent.
